SeniorNet Learning Centers offer computer classes specifically designed for adults 50 and older. Since 1986, SeniorNet has educated millions of older adults about computers and the Internet to enrich their lives and enable them to share their wisdom.
The SeniorNet Learning Centers offer a low-cost, friendly introduction to using computers. The basic curriculum is comprised of courses on introduction to computers, word processing, spreadsheets and using the Internet.
SeniorNet is an international non-profit organization. Its programs are for seniors, taught by seniors, in small classes, at a speed and in language that seniors can understand and follow.
More than 4,500 people work for SeniorNet Learning Centers, as volunteer instructors, coaches, administrators, website discussion leaders, community supporters and technicians. SeniorNet would not exist without this network of volunteers who dedicate countless hours to helping others learn to use computers and the Internet.
All our instructors and coaches are seniors just like the students ... they are all volunteers, some who have completed and learned from the program itself.
