Help Desk

The Information Technology Services Department provides assistance for all technology issues to ICC students and employees.  While we do not maintain a formally staffed "help desk", we do strive to assist users on a one-on-one basis when requested.  ITS is responsible for supporting all campus owned computer hardware and software, network infrastructure, telecommunications equipment, print/copy/fax devices, multimedia equipment and security systems.

Students are welcome to use their own laptops on campus, and we provide both wireless Internet access and printing capabilities.  Our staff has a "hands off" policy for non-College owned equipment, but we do provide support to students in the form of coaching.  Students just need to bring their computer to our work area (Davies 235) and our staff will be happy to work with them to help them resolve problems with their computers.

This is a brief overview of the D2L learning environment from the Student's perspective.  The tutorial is from another MnSCU institution, but the features and layout are the same as our version of D2L.  You will need the Adobe Flash Player to view it.

D2L Tools Help Guide for Students

This page is located on the D2L Helpdesk site.  It lists most of the common tools in D2L and a short description of the purpose of the tools and how to use them.  Click the little info icon info iconto the right of each tool description for more information about that too.
