Study (Student Employment)
ICC employs approximately 200 students who work part-time (approximately
10 hours per week) during the school year to earn some of their
financial aid. Funding for work-study jobs comes from federal and state work-study allocations as well as funding from the Blandin Foundation. Students will earn $8.00 per
hour and be paid every two weeks. Most positions are on-campus
although a few off-campus jobs are available. Generally,
students must demonstrate "need" in order to be employed in off-campus
positions.
Steps to Student Employment
1. Complete the FAFSA.
2. Students with work study eligibility will receive a Work Authorization with their Award Notice. If you did not receive a Work Authorization you may still apply still be eligible for work study after September 8, 2008. Please check with the Financial Aid Office for eligibility.
3. Browse available jobs at Job Openings.
4. Contact the supervisor of the job you are interested in to set up an interview.
5. If you are hired, turn in your Work Authorization form to the Financial Aid Office and complete additional paperwork.
6. You may begin work when your supervisors receives your time sheet.
