Reciprocity rates are available for students from North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Manitoba. Typically, non-resident tuition is reduced if you're a reciprocity student. Applications are available in the ICC Records Office. Non-Resident tuition rate is 125% of resident rate (when not including tuition rate buy down with stimulus funding).
Books
Books will cost approximately $40/credit for most classes (on average - $1200 for the academic year). (Note: Books and supplies for engineering students are estimated at $1,500/year.)
Registered students with a COMPLETED financial aid file and enough financial aid (grants, scholarships, processed student loans) to cover tuition/fees, dorm rent/meal plan and books
will be allowed to pick up their textbooks one week before the start of school. Financial aid will be applied to any
outstanding book charges on student accounts during the the third week of each semester.
Hint: Ask about used books to reduce your costs!
Eligible students may pick up their books in the ICC Bookstore (Backes Student Center) during the following dates and times:

Housing/Meal Plan
Students who live in Itasca or Wenger halls are required to carry a meal plan.

Note: The Viking Grill and Eatery will serve breakfast and lunch. On-campus students will be billed $580 each semester and this money placed on a meal plan account. The student's meal cost will be subtracted from this account each time food is purchased in the Viking Grill and Eatery. Unused meal account dollars expire at the end of each semester and will not be refunded. A second meal plan option of $650 per semester is also available upon request.
Students are required to send in a $200 prepayment to secure a room. All applicants are asked to complete a room assignment preference form. This information is used to place students with other residents with similar interests. Financial Aid BudgetBelow is a reasonable budget for a full-time student (30 credits) for the nine-month 2010-2011 school year based on estimated Minnesota resident tuition/fees of $161.79 per credit.
