Housing/Meal PlanStudents who live in Itasca or Wenger halls are required to carry a meal plan. 2010-2011 costs per semester for housing and meals are as follows:
Note: The Viking Grill and Eatery will serve breakfast and lunch. On-campus students will be billed $580 each semester and this money placed on a meal plan account. The student's meal cost will be subtracted from this account each time food is purchased in the Viking Grill and Eatery. Unused meal account dollars expire at the end of each semester and will not be refunded. A second meal plan option of $650 per semester is also available upon request. Students are required to send in a $200 prepayment to secure a room. All applicants are asked to complete a room assignment preference form. This information is used to place students with other residents with similar interests. The following budgets are used in awarding financial aid and determining a student's financial need.
** Non -residents should add $1,185 to the budget above Costs for child care expenses, study abroad, disability-related expense, additional tuition costs for credit overloads (above 15 credits each semester), Nursing coursework (PRNU designated courses), on-line courses, as well as one time computer purchase costs may be added to the above cost(s) of attendance with documentation.
