Applying for Financial Aid

Which application do I use?

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you will be pursuing one of the following programs:
  • A.A., A.A.S. or A.S. degree
  • Practical Nursing, Wildland Firefighting, or Pulp and Paper Technology diploma
  • Vegetation Management or American Indian Studies certificate

OR

Complete the Blandin Foundation Part-Time Grant application if you will be pursuing a short certificate program:
  • Nurse Assistant certificate - 3 credits
  • Home Health Aide certificate - 1 credit
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate - 12 credits
  • Computer Proficiency Certificate program - 12 credits
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate - 15 credits

OR

Complete the Alliss Grant application if you just want to try a college class (tuition and books free) and are not sure what your long-term goal might be.  You must meet the eligibility requirements and have not applied for other financial aid.
