Financial Aid

College is a period of time when many critical financial decisions are made.  Because these decisions can have a lifelong impact, students need help making the best choices.  We are dedicated to supporting students and their families with information and resources to financially support their educational goals.  Our site is designed to provide you with a general overview of financial aid programs offered at Itasca and give you guidance in the application process.  We want you to know that we are here to help.  Please feel free to contact us in person, by phone, or e-mail. Our staff contact information is listed below.  We sincerely hope that the information we offer will help you achieve your educational goals at Itasca Community College.

Now is the time to complete the 2016-2017 FAFSA.  The FAFSA is FREE!

    • Aid disbursement begins on September 9, 2016 and continues each Wednesday and Friday after this date as student award letters are processed.
    • ICC has been notified by the U.S. Dept. of Education that  we must change the way that loans are disbursed.  As of October 20, 2014, current students who are first time, first year borrowers must wait 30 days from the start of the semester to receive Direct Loan funding.  Additionally, loans taken out for one semester at a time are subject to multiple disbursements.  This means that for a single semester (term) loan, a student would receive half of the loan at the beginning of the semester and the other half at the midpoint of the semester.  Plan your borrowing carefully!
    • Important information regarding subsidized student loan limits. Read more here!
    • Check out a this video about financial responsibility. The video stars all ICC faculty and staff!
