Example of Customized Training:
Group systems is a unique software system designed to help groups and teams
work together for better and faster decisions. Using networked PCs in meeting
rooms, between offices, or around the world, Group Systems provides powerful
tools to connect people and information. Working in meetings, on project teams,
or in long-term work groups, people can create, organize, and evaluate ideas
quickly for group consensus. Through it all, people are free to communicate
honestly and anonymously. The concept behind Group Systems is to provide a platform where ideas can be created,
shared, recorded, organized, and analyzed. This powerful and innovative
electronic meeting support software can cut meeting time while improving quality. Group Systems team-based decision software shortens
the cycle time for strategic planning, product development, problem solving, and
other business processes.
One example of where we used Group Systems is a local lake association, which
wanted to poll the residents on certain topics pertaining to their lake. We took
our mobile lab to their meeting and completed a half-day session.
Another example was with AEOA, which wanted to do sessions with each of their
divisions with the main emphasis being to evaluate their mission. A third
example is Itasca County, which used the program to process issues of county
government efficiency, roles and images. All the above listed organizations found the system
to reduce the time required to gather the information and liked how Group
Systems quickly made sense of the information.
