Continued Learning Center

A Service of Itasca Community College

The Continued Learning Center is one very special way ICC reaches out into the community. The college serves people of all ages and walks of life, providing opportunities for personal growth and enrichment through workshops, seminars, and special events.

Customized Training brings education into the workplace: workshops, seminars or courses are designed specifically for a business or organization's needs for content, format and delivery.

The Downtown Computer Center, located in I.S.D. 318 Administration Building, 820 NW 1st Avenue, in the heart of Grand Rapids, offers a state of the art computer lab with 24 stations equipped with high-speed internet access. Regular classes are available on a variety of software programs and customized classes can be designed to meet individual organization's needs for technology training or support. The lab is also available for rental by groups choosing to bring in their own facilitator.

Community Education/Continuing Education Itasca Community College offers a variety of non-credited classes for the community. They vary from woodworking to doing the Tango on Friday night, to leadership training to health care classes. If you have an interest, we have the class--and if we don't have the class, let us know and we'll create it!

College for Kids is an academic enrichment and educational supplement program for children and adolescents with high academic potential, keen subject matter interest and strong motivation or talent.

SeniorNet is an international non-profit organization designed to teach our Senior citizens the ways of the computer and Internet. It is a program for Seniors, taught by Seniors, in small classes, at a speed and in a language that Seniors can understand and follow.
