Itasca Community College's new mens basketball coach is Andrew Schmitz. 

A graduate of Hinckley-Finlayson High School, Andy attended Central Lakes College and then went on to complete a B.A. at the College of St. Scholastica. While playing basketball at St. Scholastica, he was named MVP twice and also served as captain of the team for two years.

Andy has served as assistant baskeball coach for the College of St. Scholastica and also worked as a baseball coach for  the Esko school district.
