CONGRATULATIONS 2007-2008 Women's Basketball Team Northern Conference Champions 4 consecutive years!!!
Megan Zubke Named All
American
Laporte, Minnesota native and Itasca Community College
sophomore Megan Zubke made school history in 2008 by being named NJCAA First
Team Division III All American. Zubke
finished her two-year career at Itasca Community by leading the Northern
Division in scoring with 17.2 points per game and shot 76% from the free throw
line. She also averaged 11.2 rebounds
per game and shot 48% from the field. Along with her All American honors, Megan was named 2006-07 and 2007-08
First Team All Northern Division, 2007-08 First Team All State
and 2007-08 First Team All Region. Zubke
led the Itasca Community College Vikings to two straight undefeated seasons and
an overall record of 44-14.
"I am so proud of Megan," said Head Coach John Bauer. "She is an exceptional role model and a consummate team player. She
leads by example and is one of the finest student/athletes ever to play basketball at Itasca Community College."
Roster
The Itasca Community College Women's Basketball team made school history in 2005-06 by winning its first ever Minnesota Community College State Championship. Itasca finished with a record of 23-5.
In the long-standing Community College Conference, players have the opportunity to compete with talented athletes and established programs. Prospective players are always welcome to tour campus, either during our special Open Campus sessions or at a time convenient to them.
