Applying for Financial Aid


Which application do I use?

 

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you will be pursuing one of the following programs:

  • A.A., A.A.S. or A.S. degree
  • Practical Nursing or Wildland Firefighting diploma
  • American Indian Studies certificate
  • Child Development Assistant certificate
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate

Federal Student Aid


OR

Complete the 2017-2018 Blandin Foundation Assistance Grant application if you will be pursuing a short certificate program below OR are a non-degree seeking student taking one class to upgrade job skills.  
  • Nursing Assistant certificate - 3 credits
  • Home Health Aide certificate - 1 credit
  • Coaching certificate - 8 credits
 
This grant is also available to students:
  • needing to take non aid-eligible pre-requisite or repeated classes for acceptance into a new program of study (such as Nursing or Engineering)
  • who have high tuition/fee/book/room/board costs at ICC who have exhausted all forms of aid available to them individually and are still unable to pay their ICC bill
  • taking only one class who demonstrate Federal Pell Grant eligibility at higher enrollment levels but don't qualify for any grant funding or loans because they are taking only one class.
