2008 Summer Engineering Camps
Summer engineering camps at ICC are intended for students interested in learning more about careers in engineering. Participants can expect to leave our summer camps with a solid understanding of the engineering profession, practical hands-on experience, and knowledge of what it takes to become an engineer.
Students work and live at ICC's engineering center, Wenger Hall. The week revolves around a variety of projects completed in a team atmosphere. The projects focus on incorporating math, science and engineering concepts, and gaining exposure to different engineering disciplines (civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical, etc.). Students also will tour engineering facilities to see and interact with working engineers, as well as enjoy night time activities in the local community (bowling, movies, lake, etc).
Listed below are the dates for this year's engineering camps. Click the link to print a detailed information sheet with our pre-registration form. If you have any questions please call Kim at 218-322-2370.
