Engineering Student Life Activities

Engineering Basketball League:  Winter basketball league for engineering students/teachers. Games are played once a week during February and March.

Chess, Yahtzee, and Cribbage Tournaments:  Students and teachers gather to play individual games and tournaments.

Thermoboat Competitions, Frog Races, CO2 Car Races, Aluminum Canoes:

First-year student projects that give an "Intro to Engineering," and provide experience for second-year students.

Engineering Trips: Visit companies, and experience engineering environments. The group to the right tours a new convention center site in its beginning stages.  The students will tour this site again and visit with the engineers prior to all systems being enclosed and the final touches that take place before opening.

Annual Pie Run: The Annual pie run consists of the choice to run 3.14 miles, or walk 3.14 kilometers. Enjoy some pie after the event is done.

Engineering student life activities as well as many campus-wide student activities and clubs are a vital part of the Engineering Program and Itasca Community College.
