Prospective Students

Junior Year

Schedule an individual campus visit or plan to attend an open campus visit day.

Schedule by calling 800-996-6422 or 218-322-2340, or by calling directly to the Engineering Department at 218-322-2370. 

These personal visits will help answer your questions about engineering careers, what classes you will need, which ones you will take at ICC, etc.

Senior Year

Complete the Itasca Community College Application Form - Send to our Records Office with your high school transcript and $20 application fee. You will receive notice regarding your admission in approximately two weeks.

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASA).  This can be done in January of your senior year.  Itasca Community College's state code number is 002356.  To apply electronically go to www.fafsa.ed.gov 

Complete the Housing Application Form.  Once you apply for admissions, housing information will be sent to you.  Itasca has on-campus housing in Wenger and Itasca Halls.  There also are privately owned student apartments, Wannigan Apartments, adjacent to campus.

Submit an Application for Itasca Scholarships and Engineering Scholarships.  The application forms are available in mid-January. These can be filled out electronically on ICC's website.

Make an Appointment to Take a Placement Test and Register for Classes.  Students who plan to attend fall semester can start to take placement tests in March.  A schedule of placement test and registration times will be sent to you once we receive your completed application.  Registrations for new students will begin in May. There are registration sessions specifically for engineering students.

Summer before Entry

Take placement test and register for classes if not done in May.

Housing arrangements-you'll receive information on final arrangements in mid-July.

If looking for work-study jobs for fall semester, go to www.itascacc.edu in August for a listing of job openings.

Attend an orientation session.
