Engineering Department Scholarship

Each year the engineering department offers some department specific scholarships to incoming students that are funded by various grants. Certain scholarships are also available to current students, and some scholarships that were received as an incoming student, may have the potential to be renewed.  The details of such scholarship offerings will be stated in your previous engineering scholarship award letter and/or via department instructors.

Below are current scholarships available for application or renewal.  To apply for any of the listed scholarships, please complete the online  Engineering Department Scholarship Form below. You will be considered for the any of the scholarships for which you meet the criteria.

Engineering Department Scholarship

National Science Foundation (PBL Scholarship)      SUBMIT FORM BY: Friday, December 19th.


Students that started in Pre-calc or higher for their first Math class and plan to remain in a PBL (Project Based Learning) cohort for spring semester.

Students that received an initial award as an incoming student, are eligible to apply for spring semester 2015.

Students that received a PBL scholarship last semester are eligible to renew their scholarship for Spring 2015

Students must have completed a FAFSA and demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA


Student must maintain a 2.8 GPA or higher to maintain the PBL scholarship

Student must remain part of the PBL cohort of classes

Student must demonstrate leadership and active participation within the engineering learning community
